The technology of numerical control (NC) is a kind of modern automaticcontrol technology, it is a kind of methods of the controls of machine toolswhich have been realized by using the digitial information, is one of the mostcrucial link in modern production technology. The interpolation technology ofNC, which function is good or bad directly influence the processing quality ofequipment, is the crucial technology in the NC system. The graphics simulationand the PLC technology are also one of the crucial technology, which havevery important influence to NC machining. This paper researchs on the keytechnology of NC system based on NURBS interpolation, which link themanufacture of ANC-45M machining center NC system.Firstly, after analyzing the tradition pulse interpolation and the datasampling interpolation, this paper emphasize to research NURBS curvereal-time interpolation technology and its interpolation improvement arithmetic.The existing NURBS curve interpolation arithmetic directly has questionswhich was difficult to control bow-high, machining security and so on. Theproposed improvement arithmetic was no longer rigidly adheres to the equalitycurve length or the step length, it calculates parameter increment of parameterspace through the method which dynamic confirm step-length. Thus, it canachieve in safety machining of high accuracy but not reduce the machiningspeed.Secondly, numerical control graphics simulation geometry modelingtechnology is researched. The line frame model, entity model theory and curveface scatter vector were introduced, analysing their merit and defect insuccession. Aiming at the defect of line frame figure, NC graphics emluatorbased on layers has been applied to improve third dimension reality problem.Afterwards, soft PLC technology of numerical control system wasresearched and designed. After control scheme of soft PLC technology andhard PLC of CNC was researched, soft PLC control scheme and composing ofANC-45M NC system were expatiate.Finally, NURBS interpolation equipment, graphics simulator and PLCeditor were realized in the foundation of key technology research of NCsystem.
