Two-dimensional Packing And Auto-programming For NC

In this paper, a new algorithm which integrates rectangle-packing method, heuristic-search method and dynamic-layout method for two-dimensional packing of irregular parts in some industries is put forward and tested. Compared with the tradition algorithm, it has enhanced the productivity and economized the material. So it possesses a high practicality and effectuality. Based on Visual c++ and AutoCAD Object ARX, a two-dimensional automatic packing system which includes figures management, optimal packing and NC programming is designed. The software is easy to learn and easy to use with its friendly user interface and has better extensible function.
