Traditional manual programming could not satisfy the programming requirement of complex shape parts already, but adopting the technology of automatic program not only shorten manufacture cycle of products to a great extent but also enhance the machining quality of products and capability of competition in the market, thus this technology has remarkably economic benefit and extensive foreground. Moreover, computer aided automatic programming system also is the important constituent of the flexible manufacture system and computer integrated manufacture system.In order to realize the automatic program of numerical control machining of the bolt-node sphere in spatial steel framework, in this subject we have completed the development of automatic program system of numerical control machining based on AutoCAD platform. Firstly, this discourse simply introduces research status quo and developing trend of the automatic programming technology and some automatic programming system in common use in present market. Then, this discourse detailedly discusses system's developing method and process with Object ARX -developing tool of AutoCAD and Microsoft Visual C++, and discusses how to extract the geometrical information and how to calculate the coordinate value of screw thread holes' axes, and discusses the calculation of rotated angles and output of cut location file, also discusses how to make use of present research result about optimization of the machining process to program. Finally, this discourse narrates the developing method of universal post-processing, gives an automatic programming example of a typical part and introduces applying method of this system through this example.This discourse can be used as a reference for professionals engaged in research of automatic programming system, or as a reference for AutoCAD developers or as a reference for employeesengaged in machining of bolt-node sphere.
