Natural gas is important raw material for chemical industry and fuel, which is very convenient to use. Its economic value has acquired our recognition. The flowmeter of natural gas flux is the most complex one in all liquid flowmeters. It not only has all the characteristics of the liquid flowmeters, namely, systhesis, educing and dynamic, but also has other characteristics: condensability, component variability and high-pressure. But the precision of natural gas flux metering is affected by many factors, it is more and more important to improve the precision. The design of the program according to the Standard SY/T6143-1996 rigidly. Taking advantage of the multifunctional tools and the strong database of Delphi and the flexible computation ability of this language, the program carries out the calculation of natural gas flux and multiple-choice for data.Otherwise,it has the acceptable man-machine conversation interface, which makes metering feasible, flexible and convenient. On the base of conforming to Standard SY/T6143-1996, the program combined with the practical application and some correlative data. It made selectively use of some latest techniques and advanced algorithms, so it increased availably the computation precision and efficiency. The program embodied adequately advantages of Delphi 7.0 and all the detailed problems of Standard SY/T6143-1996.And that, it can choose flexibly the data in the database on the base of the practical application, which reduces the memory of the computer. In conclusion, the practical data validated that the metering precision of the program is up to the mustard absolutely for the practical application.
