| Liquid-magnetic abrasive tool finishing is a kind of new technology on precise surface finishing. It uses the rheological characteristics of liquid-magnetic abrasive tool to finish surface of parts. It has typical fluidness when there is no external magnetic field around it. But when a strong magnetic field is applied, the viscosity of liquid-magnetic abrasive tool will increase quickly, and it will show the characteristics that resemble to solid. At present the technology of magnetorheological finishing (MRF) which use the rheological characteristics of magnetorheological fluid has been used in surface finishing, such as optical eyeglass, chinaware, glass etc. But the intention of this thesis is to finish surface of parts madeof magnetoconductive material by liquid-magnetic abrasive tool. The main content of this task includes: Based on analyzing characteristic and composition of liquid-magnetic abrasive tool, putting forward the finishing technology of liquid-magnetic abrasive tool; Based on comparing several experimental equipments of MR polishing, bringing forward the scheme of experimental equipments in liquid-magnetic abrasive tool technology and designing the experimental equipments; Using the experimental equipments to finish some parts and based on experimental datum summing up the rule of the surface roughness varying with several parameter; At last indicating the later task and good prospect of application of the liquid-magnetic abrasive tool technology. |
