With plenty of actual materials collected from fully mechanized mining working face, distribution laws of running and failure time of the production system are abstained, a computer simulation model of this production system is also established and applied on the spot. On this basis, productivity capacity and reliability of this production system are explored and analyzed with this model.The productivity capacity of the fully mechanized and mining working face determines on many factors such as geology equipment, mining technology. personnel ability, management level and so on. Majority of these factors are stochastic, therefore, thewhole production procedure is stochastic. In this thesis, with many actual materials from fully mechanized mining working face being analyzed, the probability distributions laws of the production system are abstained, a computer simulation model of this mining face is established and is simulated dynamically on the spot. So, the mining procedure of this face can be reappeared. In the simulation procedure, through analysis of relative factors under actual conditions, main factors and subordinate factors are found and severalreasonable advise are given, in order to combine large distance simulation and small distance simulation and therefore increase production of mines in large scale.
