The instruction of the ideology is based on that intelligentizing, standanization, integration, netmeeting are the most important aspect of mould CAD development .The system of the intelligent blanking die CAD is based on deep research according to that the ablity is not power in some special application for the various kinds of CAD softwares' common specialities are widely applied in current times. The system is resarched in the platform of UG 18 software. The thought of use COM to develop software was intruduced in the biggining of article, and use the soul "a big software system should layout some moduls, different modul has different fuctions, there has as little as can relation between any two moduls"to design the intelligent blanking die CAD system. The system is composed by four subsystems which are workpice pretreatment subsystem, process calculation subsystem, process design subsystem and die configuration design subsystem. The information among the four subsystems is communicated by interfaces, any subsystem can be improved or modified alone only need keep the interface fixed, the whole system can run normally. The main fuction of the workpice pretreatment subsystem is get the information of the workpice, analyze the drawing of the workpice and judge the rationality of the technics of the part. The main task of process calculation subsystem is use new way to calculate all needed process calculation such as the blanking pressure, the discharge pressure, the center of the pressure, the cutting-edge size of male and famale die. The process design subsystem has three main modul, they are stock layout, choose of processing plan and design of work step. The task of die configuration design subsystem is to build die standard library and finish the assembly drawing and the schedule drawing and so on. The intelligent blanking die CAD system was studied. We want to develop an intelligent die CAD system which has the ability to self-study, auto judge and autodesign. The system can help the die disigner to finish the simple and fussy labor, so the disigner can devote his life to the creative work. The system can rember the new design of the disgner and can auto finish the work when meat the analogous task. The whole frame of the intelligent blanking die CAD system was marked out. The realize thoughts and the solve arithmetic was also studied. All of the work has universal guide and reference means to the continual application of investigation and generalization.
