The ceramics pigment is a white or color crystallize body at the heat useing in eventhe glass produces mutually still haveing the high and hot stability and the anti-chemicalreaction. In recent years,the development of the new porcelain and ceramics material hasalready promoted the pigment research and the application of stability at over 1200℃.The color crystallize physique keeps stable in thus appearance is because it stillbelong to be structure by the limit,similar in ZrSiO4,MgAl2O4 and just structures suchas jade and diamond etc.Our range of research is three dollar oxide (AIIIBIIIO3) that hasthe crystal structure,increasing a little amount Cr3+ be the Perovskites,under thecondition that the borning time product and burning with a sex brick of heat,thesemixtures have already verified being the color pigment , the acquisition gets the resultto change in the color up stabilize with heat up all give satisfaction more.Make use various token meanses such as X-ray (XRD) , mirror(SEM) andtemperatuer analysis( DTA) , studies pigment main things and its content , thereplacement quantityof the color ion, the mechanism of color and synthesize.This article respectively used the classics analysis and the instrumental analysis,XRD and SEM,the gravitational settling analysis method and the laser analysis method,the photoelectricity cryoscope to study the chemical composition and the crystal structureof Cr-Y-Al red pigment, to analyze the sample particle size and composition,the colorgeneration characteristic and colorimetric parameter.This article also researched the Cr-Y-Al color generation mechanism,through the research ,we think that the Cr-Y-Al redpigment that has the perovskite structure .Its main chemical composition are rare earthsY2O3 and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and Cr2O3 is colour oxide. Its marjor crystal phase isthe yttrium aluminum garnet (Al2O3. Y2O3) in the most and the inferior crystal phase is twoyttriums aluminum garnet (2Al2O3. Y2O3),fluorspar(CaF2) and corundum(α-Al2O3) andso on .The colour generation mechanism might is that : Cr3+ substitutes for Al3+ inyttrium aluminum garnet and cause the crystal lattice to have the distortion and Cr3+stimulation,form the characteristic reflection band after the visible spectrum selectiveabsorption in 600-700nm,then produce red colour.
