Coal seam in our country has rich gas. The gas discharging in many mines is not only large, but also the outburst of coal and gas is in danger. Recently, the fact that the gas explosions took place constantly has indicated that our country is one of those which is damaged by gas disaster most in the world. So, to prevent the gas from flowing out has become the chief task which ensures the safty of production.Rijigou Mine of Coal Industry Group of Ningxia belongs to the high gas mine. In its history, the disaster of gas explosion has ever happened besides the other tragic accidents, in recent years, the problem of gas burst has become more and more severe on individual working area, which has threatened the production of safety and high efficiency of the mine., Study the existing feature of gas in the coal seam of Rijigou mine, definite its gas suction parameters, set up its synthetical monitoring system of gas emission, which has certain scientific significance and important realistic meaning for reducing the dangerous degree of gas disaster.By beginning with the study of the gas existing states in the seam, the paper analyses the law of the existing feature and the discharging of gas in the seam in different areas and under the different production specifications .Definite the dominant parameters of gas suction, set up the dominant monitoring system. On the basis of this, the amount of gas suction can be surveyed continuously by means of the synthetical monitoring system of gas emission, and do some continuing monitoring and controlling on the gas capacity, deliving rate, negative pressure and temperature.
