The Study Of Intelligence Centering System For Peeling Log

Under the shortage of forestry resource in China, it is an urgent problem for wood industry how to improve the using rate of wood material and increase the input of the industry. Meantime, As information technology is making great progress, It is an important study to use the digital management, e-business and multi- media technology in wood processing factory.This paper mainly studies the process of peeling log in plywood industry. Using the comparing and analyzing method, it studies the technologies of real-time capturing block end image, previous image processing, edge extracting and centering the block image; as a result, this paper has constructed an intelligence centering system for peeling log. Firstly, the system can real-time capture the image of block face and then can quickly and accurately centers the block. This procedure will improve the yield rate of veneer production and face veneer production. Secondly, this paper using multi-media technology, database technology and Visual Basic technology has constructed the real-time block database system and analyzing system of veneer products. It is of significance to lead wood industry using data management for processing and management.
