Embedded system is now becoming a popular technology with the development of embedded computer systems. It is widely used in certain area such as consume electronics, industrial control and so on. See from another aspect, the difference between native and overseas of industrial embroidery technology is so large that they are not in the same level. We should change this phenomenon, so we do some research and design works on it. We bring forward a new concept called commixiu. Commix means mix something together and xiu is the Chinese explainity of embroidery, which means that the system we have design is to mix more than one type of embroidery modes to one mechanical platform and perform an uniformly control. Embroidery efficiency and precision can be improved by doing this.To shorten the difference discussed above, we have done a deep research and developed a new type of embroidery control system. This system contains several branches of embedded technology because it has many outstanding merits. What optimize the system by including embedded technology can be briefly concluded as follows: (1) Use embedded single board computer PC/104 to be the system control kernel. It can simplify the configuration works of peripheral equipments and reduce system's acreage. (2) Use embedded microcontrollers to be collaborated processors. Their work is to control stepper motor drivers. (3) Adopt embedded Linux to be the system platform and this can greatly improve system's stability. And we add real time kernel to it to make sure it has the ability to collect real time data.In addition, we adopt EDA technology to fit system's embedded requirement. Using CPLD device to be system's logic kernel, its programmable manner make the logic design more flexible, and large scale of acreage is saved which make embedded scheme available. This paper particularly introduced the system's control principle, modules and their work rules of hardware architecture and the construction process of embedded OS kernel. It also listed application details of those modules, and analyzed the system's feasibility and stability. At last, it concludes some problems occurred in the process of R&D, and prospect the future of native industrial embroidery technology.
