The thesis is composed of four partsPart One Resent Progress in Study of Chemical Constituents from Araceae and Ocean Micoorganism.Chemical constituents were isolated from Araceae. Their structure ,names and plant resources were reviewed. Then it is the application of ocean micoorganism. Part Two The Chemical Constituents from Rhaphidora hongkongensis.Eight compounds were isolated from stems of Rhaphidora hongkongensis.By means of spectral methods,their structures were elucidated as a new chemical constituent, β -sitosterol,stigmasterol,sterol, β -daucosterol,octadecylic acid.Part Three Study and Application of Nutritional components of wild plant Var australis (Diels) Rehd.The analysis of Var australis (Diels) Rehd nutrients showed that there are mineral elements, fiber, proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins including β -carotene . And at least 17 kinds of amionacid in Var australis (Diels) Rehd .
