Sulfur dioxide is one of primary air pollutant. There had been dozens of desulfurization technologies aimed to the high-concentrated sulfur dioxide waste gases domestic, but for the low-concentration waste gases, most of technologies are still in the polite-scale because of technique and cost. In this study, based on the theoretical analysis and the predecessor in the foundation, a novel desulfurization technology was experimented, and a new kind of membrane reactor, which using hollow fibre and the citrate solution, was investigated for the flue gas of low-concentration sulfur dioxide.The thesis studied the theory of sodium citrate solution absorbs sulfur dioxide and mass transfer coefficient for absorb it use hollow fiber reactor contained sodium citrate solution. Forward researched the factors to influence the absorb efficiency, such as, absorb time, operation mode, condition of gaseous phase and the sodium citrate solution.Studies shown: (1) It is feasible in theory and experimental scope to absorb low content sulfur dioxide gas use hollow fiber reactor contained sodium citrate solution. (2)The operation mode of reactor has greater influence on the efficiency of absorption. (3)The concentration of sulfur dioxide has important influence on absorption operation, the lower the absorption rate with the higher sulfur dioxide concentration.(4)The velocity of gas has obvious influence on the absorbing efficiency, the velocity is greater, the efficiency is lower; (5)Under the higher sodium citrate condition, the liquid velocity to absorbing has no great influence on efficiency. (6)The absorption rate is higher with the solution concentration higher; the concentration is too big, it will cause the improvement of membrane resistance, and 0.5mol/L is right level.(7)The higher solution pH, the better absorbing efficiency. Considered the desorbing operation and buffer capacity of solution, the better pH is 4.50. (8) The sulfur dioxide density of tail gas is linear relation to sulfur dioxide density in liquid. There are different proportionsunder different operating modes .Utilize the proportionate relationship, can control the density of sulfur dioxide in solution to control the density of tail gas.
