| In order to ensure products undeformed during the design of the plastic injection mould, it is indispensable to analyse the concentrated location and the magnitude of the release force, choose appropriate releasing methods and ejecting location, and work out a sort of ejection mechanism that is exact, reliable, agile and simple. For this purpose, the thesis is based on the structure and design characteristics of the ejection mechanism. And a CAD system of the ejection mechanism of the plastic mould (EMCAD), which has a Windows style of man-machine conversation interface, has been researched into and developed. The developing platform is PC-CAD software—AutoCAD which has a large number of users. In the programming environment of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, the development of the system makes good use of functions of the powerful secondary development toolkit of AutoCAD—Object ARX and Microsoft Access 2000 Database software.EMCAD system combines Object Oriented programming technology, database technology, parametric technology and solid molding technology. There are mainly three modules in it: the computation and check module, the database module and the drawing module. The computation and check module can realize the computation and check of the release force and dimensions of ejector parts. The database module contains necessary data during the design of the ejection mechanism. In addition to the function that can 2D or 3D draw ejector parts parametrically, the drawing module has assistant functions that can setup drawing layers, label dimensions and draw the list, etc. The users can be guided by the dialog boxes as well as can use the customized menus. It is convenient and agile to design the ejection mechanism, query the data and draw the ejector parts. At the end of the thesis, an instance is used to demonstrate the dependability and practicability of the system. |
