Al-Mg Alloy is a kind of widely-used aluminium alloys. But in the melting of this type of Alloy, the chemical property of magnesium is active, so the oxidation of the alloy is very serious. This can not only decrease the receiving rate of magnesium in the alloy, but also make tremendous economic losses. Thus, the industry application of the alloy is grievously affected. So, how to resolve the oxidation of Al-Mg Alloy is the key to widely use of this kind of alloy.In order to prevent the oxidation of the alloy, flux and gas protecting methods are often used at home and abroad. But the hotspot of study is alloying method. In this experiment, these methods are studied deeply. The mechanisms of every methods are analyzed, and then the kinetic graphes are set up correspondingly, furthermore the effects of temperature are discussed. The conclusions drawed in this experiment can instruct the practice in some degree.
