Operation Technology Theory & Application Study On Boiler Feed Water Pump Of Type MD100-300/13 In 300KT Ammonia Device

At present, China has been a member of WTO (World Trade Organization) and the global economic integration is stepping up. In 2003, the domestic economic ended the low position lasted for 3years, threw away deflation lasted for 5years and entered a new economic increasing period. It propelled the demand of means of production effectively. Resource and basic products have taken on a soaring look. The products of our factory almost are means of production, hence our factory has the opportunity to meet with a good market. However, with the upgoing price of natural gas, in order to compete with manufactories nearby and products that are imported oversea, we feel high pressure. Hence, enterprise under this circumstance expecting to succeed, the device is operated at lower cost, stably and efficiently, which has an important meaning.The boiler feed water pump is used as an important equipment of annual 330kT ammonia and 520kT urea device, it mainly supplies water to vapor generator system of composite loop, transfer loop about urea device. Whether it runs well and efficience is high or not, which have a direct effect on the economic and reliable operation of the whole fertilizer device.This article bases on insufficient ability of boiler feed water and constant shaft broken problems. Beginning with centrifugal pump operation, it studies theory of pump impeller, similarity theory, cavitation theory, axial force, balance of axial force,operation theory and theory of shaft strength so on. According to test system, we tested and got the L-Q curve line and the working point of the pump, ensured the influence on pump properties aroused by device. Through study on pump properties, essential reasons were found, then, we solved the existing problem together with the concernedmanufactories--increased the diameter of impeller and improved the dischargeability of pump; reformed the structure of pump shaft, increased diameter of shaft located the position of pump thrust bearing lock nut, improved the strength of pump shaft, extended the service life of pump shaft. These technical methods tested and succeeded will bring enterprise perfect economic benefits. Though the methods to solve the problem are mainly to focus on the boiler feed water pump of our factory, they supply reliable solutions to study, design, manufacture, operation of centrifugal pump, which has a certain significance of guidance.
