The cracked C5 stream of ethylene plant is a very important chemical material.But it doesn't make good use in QiLu company.It is being used for fuel mostly.The polymer of olefine when burning can jam the equipment and makes the complex run unnormaly.This paper has done a wide and deep research in the seperation and utilization of C5 fraction.The producing scale,product plan and seperation process of C5 seperating unit was determined.By doing research on CPD reactor,mainly influence elements of reaction conversion and selectivity of CPD was found.In the same time a good operation condition for CPD reacting has been determined.Using the ASPEN PLUS software ,a simulation calculation for the seperation of DCPD was made.According to the results of calculation,the condition of each equipment was proposed.In the DMF extractive distillation unit,a thermodynamics model of C5-DMF system and extractive distillation model was made,and also a simulating computation has been done.The satisfactory simulation results in estimating the conditions of operation and process was obtained.The difficult points of technology in designing and operation was also studied,and the improvement was pointed out.This paper also put forward suggestions on utilization of cracked C5 in QiLu.
