On the basis of summary to the desulfurization and denitrification employing corona discharge, a new method of integrative desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal basing on corona discharge effect on gas-water interface was proposed in this paper. Using our own model, a series of experiments have been done.According to the theory of gas-water interface corona discharge, the structure and size of the reactor have been confirmed with the calculation of electric field and dust removal, and the system of gas simulation and its inspection, power supply and control system were also designed which will give some reference for this kind of gas decontamination.The experiments of desulfurize and denitration have been done using the designed experimental system and it can be concluded from the experimental result that the removal rate of NO and SO2 increases with the increasing of corona discharge. It also can be concluded that the removal rate of NO and SO2 increases with the increasing of the remained time of NO and SO2 in the reactor. With the increasing of oxygen content, namely, the content of O3 produced by collision of high-energy electrons, the removal rate of NO and SO2 has increased in the process of corona discharge. When the voltage reaches 11 KV, the removal rate of SO2 can reach 99% and NO can reach 18%. The initiate concentration produces little influence on the removal rate of SO2. SO2 can be absorbed by water very well, but the solubility of NO in water is low. The removal rate of NO increases slightly with the increasing of water flux.According to the chemical dynamics under corona discharge, HO, O, O3 are the main factors in desulfurization and denitrification and the integrative effect of gas-water in this experiment provided favorable conditions for these factors. The model design and experimental results in this paper are useful for experimental researches and application of integrative desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal.
