| Several preparation methods of 3,5-dichlorobenzoyl chloride are discussed in this paper. The differences of them were compared also. The product and its intermediates were confirmed by IR/H-NMR and the purity of them were analysed by Melting Point and HPLC. The effects of various conditions to reaction were studied. The reaction mechanisms were discussed.In anthranilic acid method , 3,5-dichlorobenzoyl chloride was synthesized by halogenation , diazo- tization and others from anthranilic in 72.0% overall yield. The optimum conditions were attained by the orthogonal experiment.
