a -Cyano- a -ferrocenyiethoxytrimethylsilame was prepared by the addition of trimethysilyl cyanide to acetylferrocene. 2-Hydroxy-2-ferrocenylpropylamine(FcX) was synthesized by the reduction of a -Cyano- a -ferrocenyiethoxytrimethylsilame with lithium aluminum hydride. Five complexes were obtained through coordination of this ligand with MCl2(M=Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd,Hg).N-(phenyl,ferrocenyl)amethyl- -hydroxyethylamine(FcYB) was synthesized by the reaction of ethanolamine with alkyl carbocation, which was prepared by the reaction of ferrocenylphenylcarbinol with the ethereal solution of boron trifluoride in dichloride methane. This ligand was firstly synthesized. Four complexes were obtained through coordination of this ligand with bivalent transitional metals (Cu,Zn,Cd,Hg). All ligands and complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis,IR,'FINMR spectra and TG-DTA analysis. Coordination pattern of the complexes has been suggested.
