With the increasing development of the digital photogrammetry, computer applied technology, and image processing technology, close -range photogrammetry are widely used in architecture , industry, engineering and biomedicine and so on, which serves various engineering building and economic building, for quick speed, high precision, not-touching object, and strong applicability in some especial conditions.Using the project and CCD, based on the theory of the digital photogrammetry, it is studied for 3-D reconstruction of industrial sheetmetal parts in the paper. First, it is very important to edge detection for the image acquired from CCD, as the tracking precision will affect greatly the result of 3-D reconstruction of industrial sheetmetal parts. However, it is shined by illumination. This makes it more difficult for edge detection about the industrial sheetmetal parts. Many operators are applied in the experimentation, and the result of Canny operator is better than Sobel operator by analyse o Then the image of the extracted curve and the line from the project are made curve registration o By space forward resection, the spacial points in the surface of the sheetmetal parts are obtained o Lastly it is made a TIN for the sheetmetal parts. As traditional photogrammetry is worked based on points registration, structure illumination registration is proposed in this paper. And the technique of the illumination emitted by the initiative sensor is applied, so it eliminates several variables to simplify the complex calculation. To some degree, the method in the paper is more reliable than point to point registration .
