| N-(3-Amino-4-methoxyphenyl) acetamide is an important intermediate used for synthesizing some dyestuffs and Pharmaceuticals. A total synthesis of N-(3-amino-4-methoxyphenyl) acetamide starting from p-nitrochlorobenzene, followed by methoxylation, reduction, acylation and nitration etc., was studied. The total yield was improved to 79.2 % in a purity of 99.3%. Some reasonable technological parameters, reaction mechanisms and conditions were discussed. The structures and compositions of these compounds were accomplished by spectral analysis and chromatographic analysis. |
