This paper focused on the processing technology of Salix Scrimber in use of the biological character of Salix under lab conditions. In the research, the perpendicular experiment design and single factors experiment design were used. The influence of main factors on the mechanical properties of Salix Scrimber including raw material shape, semi-finished product forming mode, resin added,temperature, time and pressure of hot pressing were discussed in detail, and the square error analyses, audio-visual analyses and computer programs were used to deal with the experimental results.The experimental results showed that resin added, hot pressing temperature and raw material shape were the obvious effect on the mechanical properties of Salix Scrimber, and the pressing time was related with pressing temperature. These should considered as the main factors in determining the processing technology. It also dedicated that the semi-finished product forming mode should be properly chosen according to the product purpose. By experiments, with three-year rings, diameter of 1.5-2cm, three-layer wood bundles formed in vertically alternative, the optimum technical parameters of Salix Scrimber with the size 250mm×250mm×10mm were obtained under the lab conditions.Wood bundle shape (Laminating times): 3 timesWood bundle final moisture content : 6%Resin added: 9%Density : 0.85g/cm3Hot pressing temperature:140℃Hot pressing time: 1.0min/mm Hot pressing pressure: 10MPa With these technical parameters, the mechanical properties of Salix Scrimber under lab conditions reached the property inde of the international like products.
