The Research & Development On Open CNC System Software Based On The Specification Of COM

Most traditional CNC systems are made with closed control architecture,which are dependent on manufacturer. Enlargements of functionality of the CNC systems or modification to the systems always are very difficult. Open control technology is brought up in this circumstance.Designed by Open control technology,the CNC systems are build on a open platform,which are extendable,scaleable,portable and interoperable. Users can modify or extend the CNC systems in order to adapt to new or their own needs.This thesis uses the technology of COM,and researches and develops the open CNC system. The COMCNC model system has been brought up based windows and PC as software platform and hardware platform. Following are the main work and results:1 The past,current and the development trend of CNC system are investigated. The CNC architecture is investigated too,which is very important to the CNC system capabilities and development. The necessity and inevitability of the openness have been demonstrated. Based on the research results of the world,the advantages of open CNC system are discussed and summarized.2,Based on the deeply understanding and analyzing of the OMAC OSACA criterion,To meet the open requirements of the CNC system,a modularized framework of open CNC system has been brought up based on the investing and analysis of the architecture of the CNC system,which has reasonable layer level and granularity. 3 The open destination of the CNC software is analyzed,and the feasibility of using COM technology to develop CNC software is attested. Based on the advanced software developing method,the CNC software platform is designed,using object-priented analysis and behavior-based modeling,4,The model CNC system has been developed based on the windows and PC platform,which has proved the characters of open CNC system.
