Study the creation of standard process and obtain the process of concrete parts based on the standard process. This increases the flexibility of system largely. This system, according to the function, is designed by modularization. This increases the normalization, the standardization and the serialization (of products). This enhances the extensibility of system. This system drapes widely and three types (cake parts, quadrate parts and long axis parts) of system include most forging of carriages and locomotives. This enhances largely die forging level of technology and relieves working strength of technologist.The development and application of template-based CAPP system that has been using for half year by Chang Chun passenger carriage factory indicate the system is practical and efficient.
