| In this paper, the Latex coating materials with high performance of fungicide and antifungal was fabricated, which is used in the condition with high humidity and plenty of bacteria. The latex coating can form a layer of dense, polish, smooth film which can be used repeadedly. It is safe and also used in high temperature and humidity without reduction of anti-bacteria effect.The paper has discussed and described many characters of a number of active fungicides in terms of the features of water-borne coating, especially the latex paint. Two kind compound antifungal compositions were selcted for architectural latex paint and tested in interior decorative and test their property of antiseptic in liquid paints and antifungral in dry film. Theresult shows that the latex is better in the interior antiseptic and antifungalral property. The two selectedcoatings are compatible and mutual benefit each other. This new type of latexcoatings can promote the antiseptic and anti-fungral properties and extend the effective term.In the final, some conclusions can be made as following: (1)Tie Silica-sol and Acronol synthetic latex paint, which can bear wate, alkali, aging and is adhesive is a fine kind of architecturaldecorative paints. (2) Huake-108 can used as antiseptic and anti-fungaral when it is used in the coatings. Its effect can be compared with the mercury and it can combined with the ZnO to raise the anti-fungral property. It is also compatible with water and paint and is a sort of anti-fungral in dry-film. (SJThe antiseptic used in interior can only restrain the growth of bacteria and mold is invalidation to alga while the effect of antiseptic in dry film is opposite to it. So they should used together. (4)The amount and the use condition can influence the final effect of the coating. The antiseptic possess the minimum content of (MIC) to different microbes. (5) The antiseptic fabricated in this dissertation is kind of functional coatingand can be used in many badly conditions.
