The loss of ecological land is one of the global problems confront modem man. It is more a human cultural crisis which is its essence than a crisis of the relationship between man and nature is the manifested phenomenon. Observed from the cultural point of view, ecological crisis is an inevitable outcome of human culture in the industrial civilization and it reflects the anti-nature attribute of tke industrial civilization. Western traditional culture, with man's control over nature as its principle. Man centralism as its value and the alienation between man and nature as its characteristic, The very culture provides a powerful instrument for human to control over nature. Western traditional culture is an anti-nature culture built on the basis of man's ruling of nature. Owing to its intrinsic contradiction, 1970s saw the decline of western traditional culture. The future society will be dominated by the ecological culture. This culture is a transition from the man's control over nature culture to the culture of harmonious development of man and nature, the emergence of which is a revolution of human's culture. With "the co-existence of man and nature" and "The mutual evolution of culture and ecology" as its key conceptions, the ecological culture emphasizes the interaction and mutual development between man and nature, it is believed that with the emergence of ecological culture, human can rebuilt their ecological land and only at that time can Marx's humanized nature and natured humanization idea beactually realized. This paper falls into three parts:Part one: According to the relationship between man and nature, human civilization known so far can be divided into three historical patterns and in different pattern, the relationship also varies. In the primitive civilization age, man yields to nature. In the agricultural civilization Age, man submits to nature and in the industrial civilization age, man masters nature.Part two: As the natural being social being and cultural being, man is the outcome of nature after certain time of development. Man is a part of nature, man lives in the nature other that out of or above nature. Neither human centralism nor non-human centralism achieves a correct understanding of man's position in the nature. Culture and ecology are the double links between man and nature. In the object relationship between man and nature, cultural relationship is reflected as the initiative of man and nature is to coordinate the relationship between culture and ecology.Part three: In fact, the essence of ecological crisis is the crisis of human culture. Ecological crisis is the inevitable outcome of western traditional culture. Future society is the ecological culture society in which the mutual coordination between man and nature can be realized. Man is the soul of nature and nature the body of man. The reconstruction of man's ecological land is bound to be followed by the emergence of ecological culture.
