With the diversification production from the low speed the big cross section to e the super-speed small cross section, request flying shear more and more high, the good and bad of its function will directly effect the rate of production, just rate and settle the qualified rate of the steel mill.This papers analyzed the sport characteristic, responding characteristic, carrying characteristic and shearing characteristic of the CV flying shear. And Applicated the theories of flexibility dynamic. Established the dynamics model of driving system and shearing system of flying shear, combine the qualitative analysis the influence to fly to shear the main factor of the machine function. Bringed up the optimization thought to design the CV flying shear that not only satisfy kinetics term and also satisfy the dynamics term.Aim at two flying shear of Capital Steel factory, under the current production craft the term, proceeds whole appearance of on-line synthesize the test and fault diagnosis. Through analyzing large quantity testing data, understand the kinematics regulation and moment station of the CV flying shear, and withdraw the entity characteristic of the CV flying shear, and find out the main reason which influence the shearing quantity and result in some faults in actual applied. On the base, further discussed the relation of the step response of drive system, electrical motor's parameter and the energy of system flywheel moment. And analyzed changing the parameter of the clutch and the brake influence the system characteristic in actual applied.The system optimization of the flying shear should satisfy the extreme limit term of the production craft:1) The rated moment of the clutch should settle the max between the shearing biggest moment in shearing low speed big cross section and the biggest start moment in high speed small cross section;2) At the time of high speed shearing, the objective function is the system flywheel energy of the shearing system, and optimizing the structural dimension of the shearing system, and guarantee the step response and the fast of the dynamic brake, then benefit to the dependable of the motion of system and the act to control;3) The big cross section of low speed shearing, should satisfy to request system flywheel energy enough, that is to optimize the flywheel structural parameter, and guarantee its step response.Through the analysis the capability of the CV flying shear, to bring up the optimizing method of the driving system and the shearing system, and to bring up the method of improving the characteristic of start and brake and the valid measure of avoiding the interfere sport between clutch and brake.
