Study On Furniture CAD & Furniture Show System

ABSTRACT In order to improve the high industrialization, the high yielding standardization and the high flexibility of furniture industry of China, furniture computer aided design (FCAD), in which the advanced technologies~ devices-, design ways are used, will be the optimal choice; as the purpose of replacing the traditional design way drawing on the drawing table with hands, at the same time in stead of the low efficiency.. long-time traditional design; as a result of improving the productivity and promoting the development of furniture industry. The products will be accepted by the consumers at the stage of design, which will be the now notion of furniture distribution and will be adapt to the situation in which the furniture industry develops fast and the trend of individuation consumption is enhancing. As the base of computer and information technologies the software FCAD and furniture animated show system was developed. The software could be used to design and produce furniture which is required by consumers or which is the individuation products. During the development of the software, with the advanced developing language VC++6.O, the ObjectARX 2000 environment which is supplied by the Autodesk company and with the use of the openness of AutoCAD 2000, the software was developed by the second exploitation to AutoCAD. It was composed of two parts. One was the furniture design utilized the drawing property of AutoCAD, which might be helpful for the designer to design furniture fast. Moreover, the furniture dimension design~. part drawings and assembly drawings all of which might be helpful to produce also belong to the first part. The other is the succession of the first. The furniture that is designed by the first part was given the materials and rendering, and then put into the virtual situation which was made by the software 3DVIZ. By the animated show and virtual integration all the problems, which probably appear in the processes of design-. produce and sell, could be solved at the stage of design. And the integral effect might be seen at the stage of design. In combination with the ideas of producers and clients, the product by optimal design might be one-off success.
