Study On Preparation Of Chitosan And The Performance Of The Interrelated Film

The preparation of chitosan(CS) by microwavecatalyzing and the effect of reaction time on the character ofCS had been studied in this thesis; The performance of CSpure film and Chitosan blend film with polyvinylalcohol(PVA) or gelatin(GEL) had also been studied. Theresults showed that: microwave can accelerate thedeacetylated rate of chitin; The CS of different averagemolecular weight and deacetylated degree(D.D) can beprepared in short time by this means. The crystallizationdegree(C.D) and the O₂ or CO₂ permeability reduce with the..increasing of CS average molecular weight. With the D.Dincreasing of CS, the C.D increases firstly and then to someextent, so appears a flat roof; the O₂ or CO₂ permeabilityhas some extremum. Chitosan blend films with polyvinylalcohol or gelatin provide better compatibility, and ifchoosing a certain proportion, the performances of theChitosan can be improved.
