| With the requirements of high-mobility and high-speed improving continuously in modern aircraft, more and more large-sized integral structure are applying in aircraft design and manufacture which machined by high-performance CNC after cutting off from aluminum alloy thick plate, and the thickness of aluminum alloy plate up to 400mm or more. At present, laser, high-pressure water jet, EDM, diamond saws and wafer saw and band saw can't be qualified to cut aluminum alloy thick plate by forming cutting. Therefore, the conception of using diamond wire saw which made by induction brazing process to cut the aluminum alloy thick plate was proposed. Centering on the concept, the brazing diamond wire saw was manufactured, and the completed research in the paper include:1. The induction brazing diamond wire saw process equipment was developed. According to the technical requirements of induction brazing diamond wire saws, the suitable induction heating power supply, induction heating coil and the matrix material and filler were selected. The brazing diamond wire saw of diameterФ1.4mm was successful produced.2. The new type of orderly-arranged diamond abrasive program was designed. The spiral-shaped and orderly-arranged of abrasives for brazing diamond wire saw was successfully developed.3. The induction brazing process test was carried out by using the developed equipment. The interface reaction behavior among the filler, the diamond and the substrate was analyzed.4. The influence factors of tensile properties of the brazing wire saw were discussed. Results show that: after high-temperature brazing, the tensile strength of the wire saw decreased obviously. The surface morphology and the fracture morphology of the wire saw were observed by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), analyzing the influence factors of wire saw cutting performance. |
