In recent years,brittle and hard materials such as engineering ceramics have been widely used in the fields of aerospace,automotive electronics and food medicine.Although engineering ceramics have high strength,hardness and corrosion resistance,the cutting performance is very poor.According to the unique advantages of diamond tools in the processing of brittle and hard materials,the brazing diamond tools are selected as the research object.But it is difficult to realize orderly arrangement of diamond particles and the technical problems of diamond brazing is still extant.In order to solve these problems,the brazing process of diamond orderly arrangement is researched,and conduct the finite element analysis of grinding Al2O3 ceramics by brazed diamond tools.The main researches completed in the paper are summarized as follows:?1?The design idea of brazed diamond tool with abrasive particle arrangement is put forward.The abrasive spacing of the brazed diamond tools is designed reasonably,and the formula for calculating the diamond spacing in the case of different exposure height is given.?2?The specific manufacturing process of diamond tool with abrasive particle arrangement and brazing is studied and realized.With the technology of flame spraying and remelting,the uniform and dense powder of the solder powder was sprayed onto the surface of the base.The ordered arrangement of diamond on the surface of the matrix is realized by the stencil.?3?The influence of different brazing temperature and holding time on the exposure height of the diamond and the wetting angle of the filler metal after welding is studied.The brazing temperature and holding time of diamond for vacuum brazing with Ni-Cr-B-Si filler metal are given.?4?The morphology of the interface reaction of diamond and filler metal is studied,and the EDS component analysis is carried out on the brazing interface.The chemical reaction of the strong carbide forming element Cr in the filler metal with the C element in the diamond has been verified.The generated C and Cr compounds prevent the further creep and wetting of the brazing material on the diamond surface,so as to form a solid metallurgical bonding between the diamond and the brazing material.?5?Numerical simulation method is used to study the removal process of abrasive particles during cut-in and cut-out workpiece.The stress and deformation during the process of Al2O3 ceramic grinding is analyzed.
