Due to the advantages of convenient process and low cost, polymer micro-devices are widely used in micro-optics, chemical and biological microfluidic, micro-energy source and other fields. At present, the common fabrication methods of micro devices include micro-injection molding technology and micro-pressing technology. Micro-injection molding technology is considered as the suitable manufacturing methods of volume process of polymer micro-devices. The chip that was produced by the micro-injection molding will make the warp, which affected the chip bonding.The plate was selected as the objective in this paper. It focused-on the structure of the plate which would affect the warp of plastic parts, summarized the factors that influence warp, and mainly made the research on plate with micro-grooves that would impact the warp. This work included:(1)It designed and produced the micro-injection mold for injection forming, containing the design of gating, water system and ejection system.(2)It used Moldflow simulation software to analyze the warping deformation on the plate with micro-grooves and optimized the process parameters that would affect the warp. Result showed that the minimum warp on plate with micro-grooves was 0.043mm, and smooth piece was 0.114mm. It analyzed the reason on micro-grooves that would affect the warp on plate, and pointed out the distribution of micro-grooves on plate that would impact the cooling, thereby affecting warp.(3)Paper set up the metrical method of warp, used the micro injection mold to produce the plates with micro-grooves and smooth pieces and applied the tool microscopes to measure the warp. Result showed that the warping distance between the plate with micro-grooves and smooth piece was 0.046mm. It analyzed the metric errors and calculated the metric uncertainty, which value was 0.0049mm. The conclusion indicated that some micro-grooves could decrease the warp of plate in the process of injection molding.
