O'Connor's Dual-crisis Theory And Its References On Ecological Society Construction In China

Since the 20th century, as global ecologial problems and social problems become very seriously and clearly, ecological problems become the focus for the people and environment problems of ecological become the most important for ecological marxist study. So the ecological Marxism has influenced widely, more and more people become to concern. In this paper, it is to research the representative of the North American Ecological Marxist–James O'Connor's theory concerning capitalist dual-crisis and its reference on ecological society construction in China.This thesis mainly demonstrates four major areas. In a brief introductory of this thesis demonstrates purpose and meaning ,current research of home and broad,and the method research.Because O'Connor is a representative ecological Marxism, the second part of the thesis has made a brief introduction on the ecology. The second part of the thesis has introduced the background of ecological marxism, and the process of marxism development briefly. It has introduced O'Connor's status in ecological marxism theory, and his contribution on O'Connor's research of ecological marxism.The third section describes O'Connor's dual-crisis theory formation, theory development and its major element. O'Connor introduces the detailed theoretical basis and the content of dual-crisis theory .The fourth part of the O'Connor's dual-crisis theory references on ecological society construction.We should have the thought of the harmonious society under the guidance of this thought, establish the ecological consciousness, and construct the ecological society.The method of O'Connor solving the dual-crisis of capitalism has a great significance on our ecological society construction. At the same time, we should have a correct understanding of our global ecological problems, enrich and develope the Marxism's theory,establish the correct ecological concepts.O'Connor's dual-crisis theory has not only the significance of theoretical innovation,but also the realistic critical function.It can give us the theoretical and practical significance in pushing forward the contemporary develpoment of marxism and understanding the contemporary capitalist society with developmental insight .
