Gas content is the methods and index of regional prediction and the results of eliminate inspection of coal and gas outburst in the Prevention of coal and gas outburst. previous research and practice of gas content determination showed that the result of tectonic coal of gas content determination often small, its essence is not accurate grasp of tectonic coal gas law, influence of tectonic coal gas law have many influencing factors, including water is one of the important factors of tectonic coal gas law. Due to such geological conditions of different aquifers,the same coal or seam have more different moisture content of each part of coal seam,when is the moisture content bigger in coal, it will appear larger deviation of using existing empirical formula to calculate loss, affect the accuracy of the measurement of gas content.In order to research the method of accurate determination gas content of coal samples under the condition of different moisture, design and processing the experimental system of adsorption-desorption of tectonic coal for laboratory simulation research, and using theoretical analysis methods for the results of the experiment, experimental study on moisture influence gas desorption laws of tectonic coal, that changing adsorption equilibrium pressure,metamorphic degree and types of destruction etc under the condition of different moisture.Using the several experience of gas desorption to regression analysis the experimental data,the results of Venter,Ustinov and Bot are the best experience equations of gas desorption law under different of moisture in the same coal samples; 1.83 multiply the error results of Barrel equation used to calculate the gas loss of dry coal samples(moisture less than 1%), this is the best method of computative lost gas quantity; quantitative analysis the initial stages of gas desorption under the condition of different moisture, get the moisture influence coefficient of calibration,using it and the dry gas content, that can accurately calculate gas content under different conditions of moisture content in the same coal seam and verified.
