According to neutron logging principle method, LWD controlled neutron porosity logging is studied, and with the combination of theoretical simulation and practice verification, design detector, neutron generator and neutron tube are directed to design. The obtained achievements through researching are as follows: Completed test tool; The tool's response relation in standard well ;The thermal neutron and source distance relation using different neutron source; At the same time many factor impact tool reliability can be test, such as under the strike,vibration etc. Using correspondence method, get better result. in order to next LWD neutron logging tool study and apply, getting stability base.
