The Cenozoic Uplifting-subsiding Relation Between Luxi Uplift And Jiyang Depression

Luxi uplift and Jiyang Depression are two very important inferior tectonic unit of North China Plate and are important parts of extensional tectonic system in eastern China. The Cenozoic tectonic evolution is significantly different between Luxi uplift and Jiyang Depression, and the uplifting-subsiding relation between the uplifting of Luxi uplift and the subsiding of Jiyang Depression is unclear at time framework. For researching the relation of uplifting-subsiding coupling, the late Cretaceous uplifting history of Luxi uplift is builded by fission track dating, t-T modelling of fission track and fission track age spectrum programmed by TASC, and the Cenozoic subsiding history of Jiyang Depression is rebuilded by back-stripping technique, fission track dating and thermal history modelling of fission track.The apatite/zircon fission track analysis from 26 samples in the Mengshan Mountain, Lianhuashan Mountain and Taishan Mountain shows that the Luxi uplift was characterized by slow uplifting speed from late Proterozoic to late Cretaceous and rapid uplifting after Cenozoic. Three rapid uplifting of Mengshan Mountain is separately 70~60Ma, 51~41Ma and 29~20Ma; Three rapid uplifting of Lianhuashan Mountain is separately 70~62Ma,49~42Ma and 28~19Ma; Three rapid uplifting of Taishan Mountain is separately 72~60Ma,50~40Ma and 28~20Ma. The uplift rate calculated by simulation results shows that the Luxi uplift migrated from south to nouth.The four subsidence curves of Huimin Sag, Dongying Sag, Zhanhua Sag and Chezhen Sag in Jiyang Depression recovered by back-stripping technique indicate that the depositional period of Es3 is the main subsidence period, in which the sedimentation rate of Jiyang Depression is the largest, and the third member of Shahejie Formation becomes the primary hydrocarbon source rock of Jiyang Depression. The subsidence of Jiyang Depression shows the tectonic migration from south to nouth. Comparison study of AFT t-T model between Luxi uplift and Jiyang Depression infers Luxi uplift may be the main provenance of Jiyang Depression.Comparison study shows that the relatively rapid uplifting events in Cenozoic coupled well with the subsidence of Jiyang Depression. Furthermore, the uplifting events not only control the formation of hydrocarbon source rock, and the time, distribution and migration of oil-gas from south to nouth, but also provide a reservoir space for the oil-gas in the buried hills.The study perfects the general understanding of the uplifting-subsiding coupling relation, and has some significance to the research of the structure and the exploration for oil and gas resources in East China.
