Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) is a kind of pulsed discharge with at least one dielectric layer inserted in discharge path. Since the homogenous atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharge was discovered, people have more and more realized significance of the study of atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharge and the importance of DBD in industry.In this thesis, some researches in atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharge were did by experimental method. The component of discharge gas, the construction of electrode, and voltage of power source, which affect to the uniformity of atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharge are studied by experimental method. The analysis of record of experiments indicates that oxygen has some negative effects to the uniformity of discharge, and there are some differences between incidences witch the change of the density of oxygen to the uniformity of discharge in different mixed gases. And in the second, the voltage of power source also has some effects to the uniformity of discharge, but it's not obvious of the effect which the voltage gives to the uniformity of discharge in some conditions of several kinds of discharge gas. In the last, that different constructions of electrode have different effects to the uniformity of discharge was discovered trough the analysis of the discharge conditions of three kinds of electrode. That different construction of electrode has different effects to the uniformity of discharge was discovered. The increase of the distance of discharge have some negative effects to the uniformity of discharge was discovered in experimental study of changing the distance of discharge, but there is still discover that the change of the distance of electrode has no effects to the uniformity of discharge in the condition of some construction of electrode in the gas what was given. The differences of the effects, which were caused by the change of the distance of discharge in electrodes which have different construction, was discovered trough comprehensive analysis of record of experimental study of construction of electrode.
