It has been shown mir-145 play a pivotal role in tumorgenesis. However, many targets of the miRNA remain unknown. Thus, identification of mir-145 targets is critical to unravel its functions in cancers. Here we report that miR-145 inhibits breast cancer growth. Our in vitro and in vivo data demonstrate that NRAS is a direct target of miR-145. Thus the results suggest that mir-145 may be therapeutically targeted in breast cancer.
