1313 plant community plots data which come from the project of Beijing important plant germplasm resources protection and utilization are classified by Two-way Indicator Analysis. And according to the vegetation classification system of "Vegatation of China",1313 samples finally divided into 4 vegetation type groups,5 vegetation types,11 fomation groups,80 formations and 119 associations.The 4 vegetation type groups include coniferous forest, broad-leaved forest, shrub and meadow.The 5 vegetation types include Cold temperate coniferous forest, Temperate Coniferous Forest, Deciduous broad-leaved forest, Deciduous shrub and Meadow.The 11 fomation groups include larch forest, temperate pine forest, arborvitae forest, oak forests, deciduous broad-leaved spinney, polar forest, brich forests, mountain mesophily deciduous broad-leaved shrubs, forb meadow, bunchgrass meadow, sedge meadow.The thesis analyses and describes the characteristics of all the formations and associations into detail.
