The Study And Establishment Of Evaluation Of Road Revegetation System Based On Mobile GIS

Road revegetation can beautify road, purify environment, and it is an important condition of guaranteeing traffic safety. So, it is extremely important. But it still stays in the stage of manual operation now. It has many disadvantages, such as low efficiency, complex compututatione, short time of data retention, low precision and so on. The latest and advanced information technologies (such as mobile GIS, etc.) can make it more scientific and effective.This paper describes the development of mobile GIS and the current situation of evaluation of road revegetation. Based on the convenience of mobile phone, it designs evaluation of road revegetation system which combines the Windows Mobile platform with SuperMap's eSuperMap. Then the paper analyzes the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and its advantages. The system was divided into two parts, server and mobile client. Because mobile client's configuration is low, in order to reduce the burden of mobile phone, the server includes the calculation of weight and maintain of indicators. And the mobile phone only has operations of map and data collection. On the server, it contains personnel management, maintains road and its sample sections, constructs the analytic hierarchy structure model based on the AHP, calculates indexes weights according to the comparison matrix determined by expert, and designs the calculating method. On the mobile phone, it contains using mobile GIS to location of road and data collection. The communication between server and mobile phone uses XML, and the result is showed on the phone. In this study, the smart phone is terminal, and it can collect data quickly and easily. The system has strong maneuverability, can greatly enhance the user interaction capabilities and operational efficiency. It is a new direction of valuation of road revegetation.
