More and more researches show that energy metabolism and different biochemical side-reactions may result in fatigue, sub-health as well as degenerative diseases and aging. Carbonyl stress theory of aging put forward:in the body's aging process, various intermediates, such as the toxical unsaturated aldehydes and ketones from side effects of biological activities in lipid peroxidation and non-enzymatic glycation, can attack the biological macromolecules, causing carbonyl-amino cross-linking, leading to accumulation of aging-related damages to DNA, proteins or other biological materials and tissues. To detect the impact of toxic carbonyl products in the process of metabolism related with fatigue and stress by using electroencephalography (EEG) technique is a complex issue referring to many biologic disciplines such as sleep, aging, physiology, pathology and Chinese and Western medicine etc. Due to time and other constraints, some pioneering and preliminary studies were conducted mainly focusing on the following issues in this paper:Firstly, unknown complex potential field of human body and its interference with other materials was observed. The electroencephalo-gram(EEG) of human and turtles and its relation to mimosa were measured and studied by KT88-AV2000 digital video with brain electric activity Mapping (BEAM). An unknown complex potential field was observed and recorded under static and dynamic conditions in organisms and various models. Interaction of biological electric signals and its transmission were found not only had a remarkable impact on the EEG in animals, but also in plants and even in salt solution.Secondly, acute stress induced by different concentrations of MDA on the central nervous system activities through monitoring EEG change of Trachemys scripta. The results showed that:MDA-induced suppression of turtle brain EEG is dependent on the MDA concentration. The central nervous system is inhibited markedly, which suggests that the accumulation of toxic carbonyl substances in the brain may lead to changes similar to the fatigue in the central nervous system. To remove carbonyl stress may be one of the important functions of sleep. Finally, the mechanisms and biological essense of meridian (Jingluo) were explained in depth. Through analysis of the evolution of animal nervous systems and in comparison with the information transmission systems of plants (the so-called "plant neurobiology"), the common biological structure and the basic law of information transmission of biological system were open-mindedly reviewed and illustrated in this paper. The information transmission systems of life were for the first time classified into three major levels:1. The brain-related central nervous system (the neural level); 2. The vessel-dependent information transmission system without the typical nerval structure (the duct level); 3. The inter-cellular and cell-environmental singal communication system (the cellular level). It is also clarified the electronic and biochemical signal transmission are the two major patterns in life system. In summary, the complicated information transmission functions and traits of the meridians are thus suggested as an interplay of the performances of the three major systems applying electronic and physico-chemical materials. Namely, the "321-Integration Theory" of meridians.
