Western part of Xiongershan area is located in the Luoning County, Henan province,which closes to the Lushi County.It's the most important part of Xiongershan multi-mental (Au,Ag,Pb,Zn,Mo) metallogenic region which lies to the southern edge of Northern China Block. Complex tectonic evolution and multi-stage magmatic activity provide this region good ore-forming geological conditions and good potential for exploring mineral resources.There are so many medium-large scale Ag-Pb-Zn deposits in the research area, such as:Shagou-Yuelianggou, Haopinggou,Tieluping etc.These deposits have same feature in geology background,ore-control factors,mineralization principle.With the surface and shallow orebody-mining of domestic ore deposits comes the end,it has great realistic meaning to strengthen research of metallogenic theory, and to expose the metallogenesis, ore-controlling factors and enrichment regulation further.It will be helpful to find new orebody at the depth and in the adjacent area.Research focused on several typical deposits in the Western part of Xiongershan region.Based on detailed field geological work, using comprehensively geophysics,geochemical,remote sensing technology etc to analyze and interpret them,and some new viewpoints based on preceding main results have been provided.This thesis discusses in details about ore-controlling structure characteristics and forming mechanism about the deposits in Western part of Xiongershan region,and it does further research on the combination rule of ore-controlling fracture.It's believed that there are four stages early and late to the steep-sloping ore-controlling tectonic stress field in the study area:Nearly SN extrusion,Nearly SN stretching,NEE extrusion, NW extrusion. General ore-controlling fracture pattern is:against such a backdrop (Nearly SN extrusion tectonic stress field), governed by NE and NWW ancient tectonic boundary and deep fault, a series of different directions at different levels translation faults were formed,which was controlled by derivatives shearing force couple.This pattern determins the distribution of deposits finally.The study shows that Taihua Formation is the final origin of ore-forming material in research area; Yanshanian period magmatic activity is related closely to mineralization,it is not only the main source of metallogenic hydrothermal solution,but also thermodynamic sources to the circulation of metallogenic hydrothermal solution,extraction the ore-forming elements from the rock; ore-forming fluid experiences the multi-stage evolution process,and it showes different proportions of components in different stages.In this area, the main mineralization stage of Ag-Pb-Zn multi-mental deposits is Yanshanian period, and the main mineralization stage of Au deposits is the supraposition of metallogenesis in Yanshanian period and in Indo-Chinese epoch.Based on analyzing comprehensively the ore-controlling features and metallogenesis, some ore-prospecting criterias are put forward.Two prospecting target areas.Shangping area and Sidaogou area are provided. Geochemical sampling data of the Shangping area and geophysical prospecting about the Sidaogou area reflect that they both have good minerogenetic conditions and ore-prospecting prospect.
