The Greater Khingan Range in Inner Mongolia is one of the important non-ferrous metal bases and ore-gathering areas in China. It has been identified that silver reserves is first in China. It is stematicly studied at regional silver deposit metallogenic regularity,ore-controlling factors, metallogenic model,ore-finding model, metallogenic prediction and target area evaluation with important theoretical and practical value for realizing prospecting breakthroughs.1.Base on regional metallogeny,it is systematically summarized at regional metallogenic geological background(stratum, magmatic rocks, etc.),regional tectonic evolution relations, and regional mineralization. It is discussed at regional geophysical and geochemical characteristics, and relationship with mineralization.2.By representative large-scale super-large silver deposits, such as Shuangjianzishan,Qibaotu,Erdaohe and Fuxingtun, geological characteristics of the deposit, characteristics of the ore body, characteristics of wall rock alteration, and ore characteristics and so on are clarified. The causes were discussed and the regional metallogenic model was concluded. The Greater Khingan Range in Inner Mongolia is mainly divided into 3 metallogenic belt.3.The comprehensive information exploration models of typical silver polymetallic deposits are builded.According to the type of mineral prediction, the silver polymetallic ore deposits in the Daxinganling area of Inner Mongolia are mainly related to the types of minerals: magmatic hydrothermal silver deposits, continental volcanic subvolcanic(hydrothermal)silver deposits, and skarn type(contact exchange-hydrothermal type).4.Using the method of metallogenic body volume, the MRAS and other software were used to estimate the resources of the typical silver deposits in the Daxinganling area of Inner Mongolia.Predicted silver resources are mainly distributed in the northern part of Xinbalhuhuyou Banner in the Daxing'anling metallogenic belt and in the central and southern parts of Xing'an League and in the northern part of Chifeng.5.Based on the 1:50000 geochemical exploration scan data in the Kundu area of the central-southern part of Daxing'anling in Inner Mongolia,PCA and BEMD were used to extract ore-forming geochemical anomalies of the polymetallic ore deposits and carry out favorable quantitative assessments of mineralization in the prospecting target areas.According to the factor analysis method, element combinations PC1 [Mn-Zn-Ag-Cr],PC2 [Pb-Sn],and PC4 [Cu-Ni] represent the most important ore Element combinations related to polymetallic mineralization in the study area.A two-dimensional empirical mode decomposition was performed on PC1,PC2,and PC4 factors to extract abnormalities caused by Ag-Zn,Pb-Sn,and Cu-Ni,and a corresponding prospecting target area was delineated, totaling 7 sites. Finally, the target area of Habutt was verified through the target area.
