The Histological Observation In Major Tissues And Organs Of C₅₇BL/6Jmice

Objective:The use of mice as disease models is universal. With the development of science,we have established more than 4000 species of disease models strain, and with the help of the computer,there have established many database of mice models. But all the data of those database are disease data.So we need establish a normal mice model database, this experiment's objective is to offer data for the normal mice model database by observed the organs of the C57BL/6J mice.Material:We anesthetized 20 C57BL/6Jimpy mice which came from the Mode Zooscopy of Nanking University,Methods:We took the liver, the pancreas, the spleen, the stomach, the duodenum, the jejunum, the ileum, the cecum, the colon, the rectum, the kidney, the ureter, the bladder, the spermary, the epididymis, the prostate, the womb, the ovary, the oviduct, the great vessels, the arteria cruralis, the femoral vein, the skeletal muscle, the diaphragm, the thymus gland, the heart, the larynx, the trachea, the esophaqus, the lymph node, the thyroid, the tonsil, the tonque, the glandula rivini, the salivary gland, the parotid gland, the skin and the eyeball from the mice, then tooke these organs in the labeled test tubes,and used 10%Formalin fixing, paraffin imbedding,common HE staining, observing collecting and marking them.Results:We dissected 20 C57BL/6Jimpy mice and fixed 43 organs and tissue.We have made 1589 microtome section and observed 13578 piece of pictures of the organs of the C57BL/6Jimpy mice, and marked 1563 piece of the pictures. Through our experiment we discovered the difference of the tissue of the mice from the human being is:a. The skin:The epidermis of the mice is thinner than that of the human being, the cells in the dermis are much more or so, the quantity change of the hair follicles and the skin thickness change in the different part on the body are not obvious.b.The Circulatory System:The arterial vascular walls of mice are thin,c. The Immune System:The trabecula and the capsula of the splenic are not clearer than the human beings. d. The Digestive System:There are no esophageal glands in the mucosa of oesophagus. Occasionally, we can find some mast cell in it, the lingual folium of mice is obvious, there is an eglandular area in the stomach of the mice, the alvine paneth cells are much more than human being,but the portal area in the liver are not thriving,the pancreatic connective tissue is little than the man, and the cystic epithelium present cubical.e. The Respiratory System:there are three kinds of tracheal gland in the mice such as serous gland,mucous gland and mixed gland.f. The Urinary System:There are more renal corpuscle in the mice than that of human being, but the ureter submucosa were poorly developed in mice as compared with those in the human being, but there were no gland in the bladder.g. The Genital System:The seminal vesicle are developed in the mice than that of in the human being, its epithelial cells are simple columnar epithelium, and its nucleus are long and thin. There are lots of gland and less of mesenchyma in the prostate. The ovariangerminalepithelium have a layer of basilemma in the mice,but it not have in the human being.h. Endocrine System:The follicular epithelial cell is cubical in the mice, but it is Circular Distribution in the human being.Conclusion:The outcome of our experiment provid a great reference for the medical biology, and it is the indispensable data for the establishing a digital library of the main organ of the C57BL/6Jimpy mice...
