Three aspects are mainly included in this dissertation:(1) Two sulfonated metallophthalocyanine compounds were synthesized, tetra sulfonated titanium phthalocyanine (TiOTsPc) and tetra sulfonated iron phthalocyanine (FeTsPc).(2) The multi-molecular films have been prepared by the electrostatic self-assembly (ESA) technique. The self-assembly process of films were tracked by UV-Vis spectroscopy, the results showed that the absorbance increases with the number of bilayers of ESA films gradually increased.Absorbance vs. the number of layers of bilayers showed a good linear relationship, indicating that the regularly consecutive adsorption process. The film surface was smooth and homogeneous as indicated by atomic force microscopy. The closely packed nanoparticles can be easily seen on the film surface.(3) To self-assembed ordered multi-layer films containing the diazonium salt resins (DR) and tetra sulfonated metal phthalocyanine (TiOTsPc or FeTsPc) on a glassy carbon electrode which surface have been modified single-layer film (p-amino benzoic acid). The diffusion coefficients were determined using chronoamperometry. The catalytic performances of the modified thin film electrodes on sodium nitrite and hydrazine have been researched. The diffusion coefficients of sodium nitrite in the modified GCE/4-ABA/DR/TiOTsPc thin film electrode is D=1.4135×10-4 cm2·s-1 and hydrazine in the modified GCE/4-ABA/DR/FeTsPc thin film electrode is D=9.934×10-4 cm2·s-1.
