Optical correlation target detection and recognition belong to the category of optical information processing.They play critical roles in the fields of science,technology, industrial produc(?)on and national defense.Making use of h(?)rid optoelectronic real-time joint transform correlator to realize the detection and recognition of optical image is the most effective and advanced means to realize correlation recognition.In this paper,we describe the frame of joint transform correlator,parameters, interrelated theories and analysis effects of joint transform correlator by distortion images. Based on studying of rotary variation images,the technology of data fusion distortion invariant joint transform correlation realizes detection and recognition successfully,enhances the brightness of correlation peak of distortion images,deploys the range of detection and recognition,and improves the practicality of joint transform correlator simultaneously.
