The laser ranging is a technology for precision measurement, it is developing along with the development of the laser technology, which is extensively used in the military field and the civil field because of its precise accuracy.This paper aims to study the implementation process of phase laser range measurement ruler, presents a design for measurement ruler. The implementation process of measurement ruler is the ranging launched process of phase laser, the launch system installations is mainly include the semiconductor lasers, modulation frequency generating microchip and transmitter optical system. Based on the principle of phase laser ranging measurement, we show the research programs of the launch systems experiments, and design the modulation circuit. According to the circuit connected components to emit modulated laser, and the modulation laser is collimator launched.The paper is required to achieve the two kind of measurement ruler, coarse measurement ruler (modulation frequency is 15MHz) and precision measurement ruler (modulation frequency is 150KHz), namely, two kinds of modulation laser alternately emit, the experiment was mainly designed a photoelectric detection circuit and a signal amplification circuit, use the PIN tube detector to do the amplification analysis for the modulated light, the experiments show that the system has a better modulation collimation launch for laser, it completes the study of phase laser range measurement ruler.
