Nowadays, with the highly socialization, science and technology develop very quickly, the relationship and the influence between technology and our society become more and more complicated. Because of the characteristics of the double-edged technology, the complexity of the technology system, and the uncertainty of technological consequences, people enjoy the convenience that technology brings to our life on the one hand, and on the other hand, we also take the damage of technological consequences. All of the factors such as the destruction of ecological environment, the engineering accidents and the biology gene mutation, bring confusions to us. We are no longer simply immersed in joy that technology can help us change the nature and control the nature, instead, we begin to think about whether the technology benefits our modern society, culture, moral and our later generations or not. Now that science and technology have made us realized that we now live in a society full of risks, in the dissertation, we will mainly discuss what role dose the technology risk play in science, technology and our society, and how can we avoid the technology risks effectively.This dissertation introduces the definitions of technology and technological risk, analyzes the various forms of technological risks in society, points out that technology risk can result in the collapse of complex technology system, threaten the personal safety of the technological personnel , the users and the consumers , and destroy the ecological environment. The dissertation will also make further discussions about the direct and deep social reasons of technology risk, using the method of case analysis, analyze in detail the complexity of technology risk prediction and prevention. The direct social reasons of technology risk are that the technological staff lack of awareness of responsibility and the completeness of the technology risk supervision system. And the deep social reasons of technology risk are the interdependence of technology development and risk prevention, the difficulty of determining the risk liability of technological personal, and the lack of responsibility ethic education of the technological personnel. Combined with the social reality, the dissertation puts forward the four corresponding countermeasures of risk control technologies—to establish technology risk evaluation mechanism , make clear the technological responsibility subject , strengthen the ethic education of technological responsibility, and perfect the supervision mechanism of technological activities, in order to better evaluate and prevent the technology risks, and make the science and technology and our society develop healthily.
