Nowadays, as fast as the development of mineral exploration industry, more and more kinds of data had been created, some of which are three-dimension data delivering rich spatial information. These three-dimension data used to be treated as two-dimension through projection, which cannot reflect the spatial information exactly, now can be treated directly and visually with computer stimulation and visualization technology, which had been concluded as Three-Dimensional Visualization Modeling technology.Based on the Three-Dimensional Visualization Modeling theories and the application of Min-Explore software, developed by Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, a kind of 3D software mainly applied in mine industry, this paper took Caixia Mountain Lead-Zinc deposit in Xinjiang as an example to display the modeling process of solid mineral resources.By using Min-Explore mine software, the ore-body solid models, the terrain model and the grade model of Caixia Mountain Lead-Zinc deposit had been constructed, which can integrally reflect the space character and spatial attribute information of the ore-body, providing a further direction for the deep geological exploration and mining projects of Caixia Mountain Lead-Zinc deposit.
